According to the evolutionary timeline, humans have only been around for one or two million years, placing them towards the end of the timeline. However, Jesus explicitly stated that God made them male and female "from the beginning of creation" (Mark 10:6). This indicates that Jesus believed human beings were present from the very beginning, which contradicts the idea of a billions-of-years-old earth.

Furthermore, Luke 11:50-51 records Jesus saying, "That the blood of all the prophets, which was shed from the foundation of the world, may be required of this generation; From the blood of Abel to the blood of Zacharias." If we cannot trust Jesus' words on some issues, how can we trust anything in the Bible? This challenges essential theological doctrines such as the Resurrection, marriage, atonement, and Heaven, which rely on the historical events described in Genesis.
